Refilling Tips and Tricks

Refilling your candle is so simple that even your Grandma could do it, we know since our Grandma can! Once you receive your Rekindle pouch and have chosen your vessel to fill, the rest is easy.

Step 1. Open your pouch and remove the stickered wick, wick holder and warning label. As every microwave is different, you should heat your pouch one minute at a time checking to see if the wax has melted. This usually takes from 1 - 3 minutes. We recommend placing a microwave safe plate under the bag while melting. Let the wax cool

Step 2. Stick you wick into your vessel using the sticker attached. If you have a hot glue gun you could put a dot of hot glue down to hold in place instead as it holds slightly better. Using your wick holder/positioning stick, place your wick into place and pour your wax directly from the pouch into your vessel and allow to cool for at least two hours or until fully hardened. Should your vessel be wider than 4.5” (114mm), you may need to purchase the wide wick sticks which are re-useable.

Step 3. After waiting at least 2 hours and removing the wick holder, trim the wick to about 1/4” (6.5mm). Light your candle and enjoy!
